FUTURE LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION  - Through our partnership with the Future Leadership Foundation (FLF) these past three years, we have worked in two areas in Eastern Europe – Lithuania and Belarus.

New Testament Baptist Church, Vilnius, Lithuania:

  • We sent a mission team in June 2008 to work at the church.  During the day, we led a Vacation Bible School for children in the church, the community, and a local orphanage that our regularly cared for by the congregation.  During the evenings, we did a variety of things and spent a great deal of time building relationships with the young people of the church.
  • In 2009, the church voted to send $4,500 to the church to help them insulate their building and significantly reduce their heating bill that was requiring most of their budget in the long, winter months. This project was completed the same year.
  • We hope to send another team in the near future as interest is expressed.  If you would be interested in helping us develop this partnership, contact Ken Enloe at kenloe@teamhuber.com or 573.230.4174.

House of Mercy, Kobrin, Belarus:

  • In September 2006, the Baptist Home began a five-year project to develop a home for the aged in Belarus – the first of its kind in that country.
  • FBC-JC voted to give $10,000 to the House of Mercy project in honor of Bob and Margaret Woolley, long-time members of FBC-JC and leaders in Missouri Baptist life.
  • In June, 2010, a team of 55 from the United States traveled to the House of Mercy for the official dedication.  Ken Enloe went as a formal representative from our church and read a letter on behalf of FBC-JC.

Lesovenski Baptist Church, Belarus:

  • Our partnership with Lesovenski Baptist Church began in 1994.
  • Each year we send $500 in financial support.
  • In 2002, Ken Enloe and Melissa Hatfield had the opportunity to visit our partner church and stay with the pastor.  We were blessed to witness all that this congregation is doing to share the love of Jesus Christ and to disciple believers.
  • In 2009, we sent $6,000 to help with a purchase of a van so that the pastor of the church can pick up members and travel to various Bible studies throughout the communities they serve.
