RIVER CITY HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
SALVATION ARMY CENTER FOR HOPE
COMMUNITY MEALS - On the third Thursday of the month, FBC-JC serves a delicious meal to around 55 – 70 guests from our community. It is free and helps provide a nutritious meal to those who might go without. Each month we need volunteers to greet, to serve, and to refill drinks. Volunteers are needed between 5:30 – 7:00 pm. If you would like to volunteer for one or more months, contact Lori Hodge 573.634.3603.
SHAREFEST – Saturday, October 29, 2011. This will be our 4th annual ShareFest! On ShareFest, we go into our community to serve in practical ways. This year we will be volunteering at South School, Eastside Community Center and a local Laundromat. We will also help with the set-up for Fall Fun for Families, a community outreach event on Sunday, October 30th. ShareFest is from 9 am – Noon on Saturday, October 29th, and is open to all ages. Registration forms and more information will be shared on October 2nd. But mark your calendars NOW
